The Shure ULXD2/SM87 features a ULXD2 handheld wireless transmitter sporting an SM87A microphone cartridge.

The Shure ULXD2 is a handheld wireless transmitter boasting a rugged yet lightweight aluminum body and integrated antenna. Capable of using many of Shure's acclaimed mic cartridges, it offers exceptional audio quality, superb RF performance and AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission.

The Shure SM87A condenser mic cartridge boasts a supercardioid polar pattern to provide greater rejection of unwanted sound sources, making it ideal for noisy environments. Its built-in three-stage wind and pop filter protects against wind and breath noise.
